The themes for this undated study of Breaking Free
come from Isaiah, a book about the captivity of God's children, the
faithfulness of God, and the road to freedom. The obstacles faced by the
kings of Isaiah's day are some of the same ones that confront us today as
we seek to enjoy the benefits of salvation..
In rewriting this study, Beth Moore has drawn from
the many letters sent to her from former students who have shared
strongholds in their lives from which they have been set free. She shares
some of these letters with us throughout the study.
Most of us have something in our lives from which we
need to be set free.
Areas covered in this study include: pride, worry,
thought patterns, insecurity, legalism, idolatry, guilt, addiction,
hiding, unbelief, prayerlessness, fear, hurt, betrayal, loss, broken
heart, emptiness, rebellion, need to control, "can'tism",
retribution, loneliness, feelings of being worthless, unworthy, ugly,
unclean, unlovable, destructiveness, unforgiveness, and unforgiving and
the list goes on.
"With God's power you can change the course of
your life. Read stories of redemption from women like you as you face your
own strongholds, overcome them, and change your story"
Books are now available at the Church office if you would like to get a head start on the study.
There is a registration fee of $20.00.
Child care will be available, but we need to plan
in advance. Please let Lauren know if you will need this service.
