Seven Key Doctrines of the Christian Faith

A timely and foundational study of 7 Key Doctrines of the Christian Faith, given the turmoil in the church today. This is a great time to focus on the essentials, the basics of the faith. Doctrines include: 

• Revelation

• The Trinity

• Creation & Fall

• Salvation by Faith in Christ

• The Work and Person of the Holy Spirit

• The Church

• The Last Things.

The Book of UnCommon Prayer - A Prayer Book for Today? 

Most of us do not know much about the contents of the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) – for apart from the “dirty” pages (pp. 323-365 used each Sunday and so darker at the fore edge) the BCP is rarely used. In this sense, the BCP is, well, uncommon to many. Yet the BCP contains the heritage of the Episcopal Church and its Anglican roots, and more than that, it also establishes the doctrine and reflects the polity of the Church today. Furthermore, the BCP can and should be used for study and devotions during the week, and not just as a pattern for Sunday worship.

Join us as we explore how the BCP came to be, what it contains and why it should not be a book of uncommon prayer, but a key part of our Church and Christian life.
