Midday Musical Moments

Wednesdays at Noon in the Church

Click for a large image of the organ and interior of Prince George Winyah Episcopal Church, GeorgetownSomewhere between a mini recital and a service, our Midday Music Moments provide a short pause in a busy week. Based around Noonday Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer, and lasting about 30 minutes, they feature a number of pieces of solo music interspersed with a hymn, a psalm and prayers.

Instrumental music is supplied in part by our music director Jonathan Blamire (organ and piano) who is often joined by guest soloists.

As part of the Plantations Tours we also hold Midday Musical Moments on  the Friday and Saturday of the Tours weekend.

Free of charge.
