Special and one-off events

The Summer Sing - Choir Camp 2010

28 - 31 July 2010
A special non-residential Choir Camp for ages 7 - 18.
4 days of singing great music, making friends and having fun. Music will include Vivaldi Gloria and a slection from The Sound Of Music.
Extra activities will include a swimming trip and talent show.
Final performance / service on Saturday 31 July at 7pm. Everyone welcome!

A World of Worship
Special service with our Music Team from New Wineskins

The Prince George Music Group with guests hosted an evening of worship using music from the New Wineskins conference, circling the globe, with historic hymns, modern songs and worship music from the Church in India, Latin America and Africa. Organ, strings, brass, wind, voices and band as you have never heard them before !

Wednesday
- 7:00 am Men's book study at Thomas' Cafe, Front Street
- 9.30 am ECW Bible Study
- 12.00 pm Midday Musical Moment. A short service / recital based around Noonday Prayer, lasting about 30 minutes.
- 4.00 pm Junior Choir (regular schedule)
Thursday
- 10.00 am Healing service with Communion (Rite II) church.
- 11.00 am Junior Choir (summer schedule only)
- 7.00 pm Choir rehearsal
*Rite I is celebrated in certain seasons and on the fourth Sundays at the 9 and 11:00 a.m. services. Morning Prayer is used on most fifth Sundays at the 11 am service

Volunteers Needed:

To join the 9'oclock Service Team as a greeter, or visitor contact, call Paul at the church.
To be Adult Education Leaders or Teachers, call Paul or one of the Adult Education Committee Members.
To be a Shepherd Group Leader, call the church office.
To be a musician or singer with the 9 o'clock worship team or the choir, contact Jon Blamire.
To help set up and take down tables and chairs for the events in the church, call Lauren in the church office.
