Through Service:
The Friendship Place: This is
an ecumenical outreach, feeding and otherwise assisting the poor of Georgetown.
It is located at St. Cyprians's Catholic Church. Prince George's
volunteers are scheduled for the first Wednesdays. the second Tuesdays, and the
third Mondays of each month. For more information, contact Charlie

Habitat for Humanity: This is an ecumenical ministry
providing housing to the homeless. For more information, contact Bill
Brabson.
Helping Hands: This is an ecumenical ministry which gives
assistance to needy of Georgetown. Their services include referrals of
those services and resources available, financial assistance (for rent,
utilities, prescriptions, etc), and canned food distribution. Volunteers
bag groceries, gather information for client's application and provide clerical
assistance. Located next to Georgetown Presbyterian Church. For more

Tidelands Community Hospice: An organization which
provides clinical and pastoral care to those in our communities, and their
families who are facing end of life issues. For more information, contact
Brenda Stroup: 546-3410
Baskerville Ministries: A free medical clinic for residents
of Georgetown County, who do not have medical insurance, and for those who are
under-insured. Volunteer doctors and nurses offer medical services.

food panty. Volunteers screen applicants, stock shelves, or bag groceries.

Through Giving:
Outreach Committee Budget: The
Outreach Committee has given to community and international outreach and
distributed its funds to the following organizations: Friendship Place,
Hospice, Habitat for Humanity, Helping Hands, Service Over Self, and other
mission organizations.
E.C.W: The Episcopal Church Women have given to the
following organizations and projects: Home Safe Harbor House, Camp St.
Christopher, Police Chaplaincy Program of Charleston, World Heifer Project,
Mustard Seed Project, Helping Hands, Prince George Preschool, St. Francis Humane
Society, Service Over Self, and the HUGS Program.
Youth Group Fund-Raisers: Interested students have
pledged their own money to sponsor two children in third world countries,
through Compassion International, and give 10% of the profits from their
fund-raisers to Compassion International.
