Christian Education

Two Adult Ed tracks offered in the Parish Hall
with opportunities for children and youth

PGW Christian Education is now in full swing for all ages. Remember to wear your mask on your way to your class, and we will do our best to follow social distancing guidelines. Please be on the lookout for Realm event info about Adult Ed classes, and we ask that you RSVP to help us best prepare for expected attendance.

We ask that you consider making plans for your children to attend their age-appropriate class (see below). Please enter the Parish Hall using the door to the right on Highmarket Street, and then follow the signs to pick up a cup of coffee on your way to one of the two Adult Ed tracks.

Classes for children up to 5th grade
will meet in the Bourne Building

Class for 6th through 8th grade students (Revive Youth group)
will meet upstairs in the Parish Hall

Adult Education - Track 1 is a DVD study titled “Walking with God in the Desert – 7 Lessons on Experiencing Living Water When Life is Tough.” This class will meet in the main room in the Parish Hall and will be primarily led by several lay people rotating weekly, and Gary, our Rector, will also be leading one of the classes and offer insights each week. This DVD features renowned Bible teacher Ray Vander Laan and was filmed in the Holy Land. The class will be led on Sept. 20th by Jamie Beard with the topic, "It's Hot in Here and There Is No Way Out".

Adult Education - Track 2 is a lecture series by Reverend Rob Kunes titled “Hearing God’s Call to the Faithful Life.” This class will meet in the Panel Room and will be led by Rev. Rob Kunes, an Anglican rector who now lives in Georgetown and often helps with PGW’s Healing Service and PGW Sunday Nights. Ryan Landes will also attend this class. Each week, Rob will focus on a major figure in the Bible, and on September 20th Rob will teach what we can learn from Moses.
