Glenda Burch is from Edgefield, South Carolina and graduated from Strom Thurmond High School in 1984. She has a daughter, two sons, two daughters-in-law, and one granddaughter. As a community activist Glenda started several programs in the community, including bible study for the elderly and homeless, and youth programs. Glenda found that her passion was working with God’s children.

In the year of 2000 Glenda started her journey in childcare in Aiken, South Carolina where she created her own babysitting business. In 2005, because the business was growing, she decided to go back to school to learn more about the childcare business and childcare development. She furthered her education in Early Childhood Education and from there she continued to grow in the profession.

Glenda is currently working on her Doctoral Degree in Educational Administration. In addition, she has a master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development Psychology, a bachelor’s degree in Educational Psychology, Associate Degree in Early Care and Education, Child Care Management, Accounting, and Basic Business. In 2008, she moved to Washington D.C. where she served in the capacity of a Headmistress, Principal, Instructor, Educational Specialist, Childcare Center Director, Curriculum Director, and Lead Teacher. Under her leadership as a director, she managed three locations that serve over 250 children and their families. In 2012, she became the founder of Lloyd’s Future Leaders Christian Academy/Homeschool Co-op. The diversity and breadth of the various positions has fueled her passion for Early Childhood.

Glenda loves the Lord God with all her heart and especially His children. She also loves giving all sense of hope through his Word and submitting herself unto God to use her as He sees fit.
