Strengthened in Christ for Life and Service

Men’s ministry at Prince George exists to introduce the men of the church to Jesus Christ so they can experience the power of His Holy Spirit to transform them into inspired and changed men who seek to glorify God, participate in the church’s life of service to others, and fellowship with other men. The ministry offers several casual and low-pressure ways for men to experience the life-changing power of God in their lives.

Gather with us on Tuesdays from 7:15–8:15 AM for a hearty breakfast and a time in God’s Word. Together we study Scripture carefully, chapter by chapter, book by book, listening for the Lord’s voice to shape us into Christlike men empowered for His mission.

This study meets regularly but pauses around holidays.

The Inklings is PGW’s Men’s Book Study, open to all men of the church. Together we grow in our discipleship to Jesus by loving God with our minds, reading, reflecting, and discussing great literary works from a Christian perspective, all over breakfast and fellowship.

Our name comes from the original Inklings group — an informal literary circle that included C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien at Oxford University during the 1930s and 1940s.

We meet Wednesdays at 7:00 AM at Thomas Café, 703 Front Street.

Every quarter, the men of PGW gather for a Bring Your Own Steak (BYOS) evening in the Parish Hall. We grill together, enjoy sides and dessert provided by the church, and share meaningful fellowship.

It’s the perfect opportunity to invite a friend and introduce them to the men of Prince George Winyah.

The Gospel Challenge is a 90-day commitment for three men to meet together and read through the four Gospels. Developed by The Rev. Ramsey Gilchrist, this journey strengthens faith, builds accountability, and deepens understanding of Christ’s life and teachings.

Groups meet on their own schedules and conclude by reflecting on the eight traits of the early disciples.
