PGW’s Outreach Ministry is excited to announce an extraordinary opportunity to improve the quality of life for our partnership church and school in the Diocese of Mesano South Kenya. We want to give them clean and safe water!

The village of Sewa is where our friend, The Rev. Fred Onyango, serves as Rector of a parish in a village of 1700 residents. The parish supports a large elementary school of 205 boys and girls plus St. Anne’s, a boarding school of 540 high-school-aged girls.

Working in collaboration with Water Missions International (WMI) of Charleston, we plan to fund the digging of a 500 ft well, add water treatment and storage tanks, add solar power for the equipment, and provide clean water for the school, the school dorm and out into the village, too.

The estimated project cost is $80,400.

Remarkably, we have already received $22,000 committed to the project from excited church members and a special gift from the PGW 300 Anniversary Fund. Only $58,400 to go! Come and join in the joy of generosity.
