The combined middle school youth groups of PGW and Georgetown Presbyterian took part in the Walk for Water in Charleston on March 21st. This annual event drew over 5,000 people and raised over $700,000 for Water Mission International. The kids were inspired by their experience and are just beginning to understand how vital water is, and how lucky we are that it flows in abundance in our neck of the woods. For our PGW youth leaders Brett and Sherry Kucera, it was particularly poignant having visited two different WMI locations while in Kenya, and seen first-hand the impact clean, flowing water brings to a community. One such location was Rev. Fred Ochieng Onyango's family village. What a joy it was to see Rev. Fred at the walk. Praise the Lord!

Our kids will share their experience and WMI's global mission as part of our Quarterly Mission Focus, at Sunday Adult Education on May 17th, immediately following the 9 am Youth Sunday Service. Please plan to attend!
