"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6
At Prince George Winyah, prayer is at the heart of our ministry and community life. The Prayer Ministry Team serves faithfully to lift up the needs of our congregation and neighbors, believing deeply in the transforming power of prayer.
Our trained prayer ministers are available to pray with you, whether you desire a quiet moment after worship, an intercessor’s ongoing prayer support, or a confidential appointment for deeper healing prayer. All matters shared in prayer are treated with the utmost care and confidentiality.
The Prayer Ministry Team
The Prayer Ministry Team at Prince George Winyah is composed of trained volunteers who serve during the 9:00 AM service and at other special church events. They are available to pray with anyone seeking encouragement, healing, or peace.
Confidential prayer appointments are also available to parishioners and members of the community who wish for a more personal time of prayer. In addition, the team assists the Pastoral Care Ministry by praying with individuals in hospitals or in their homes.
The team meets bi-monthly for training, fellowship, worship, and prayer.
