Core Doctrine of Beliefs

We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; three distinct persons coequal in glory and coeternal in majesty and of one substantial Godhead, such that there are not three gods but one God;

We believe in the Holy Scriptures as the inspired and trustworthy Word of God, containing all things necessary for salvation and authoritative for faith and life.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the one and only Savior of mankind, fully God and fully man, whose perfect obedience, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension are the sole means of our salvation and reconciliation with God.

We believe in salvation by grace through faith alone, that we are justified by faith in Christ alone, not by our works, yet our faith naturally bears the fruit of good works through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the return of Jesus Christ in glory to judge the living and the dead, and in the bodily resurrection to eternal life or eternal separation from God.

We believe in the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church, redeemed by the work of Christ and called to proclaim the Gospel to all nations through worship, prayer, and faithful living.

We believe in the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion as outward and visible signs of inward and spiritual grace, instituted by Christ Himself for His Church.

We affirm the Nicene and Apostles’ Creeds as true expressions of the Christian faith, and the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion as a coherent summary of Anglican doctrine.

We believe Christians are called to lifelong discipleship, growing in faith and faithfully living out what God has revealed, following Jesus in obedience and love.
