Growing Together in Faith and Fellowship

The Women’s Ministry at Prince George Winyah is a place where women of all ages come together to grow in faith, friendship, and service. Through study, prayer, and shared ministry, we seek to encourage one another as disciples of Jesus Christ and to use our gifts for the glory of God and the good of others.

Serve one another humbly in love.” – Galatians 5:13

The Anglican Church Women (ACW) includes all women who are part of Prince George Winyah Church. Together, they serve the church and community through acts of fellowship, hospitality, and outreach.
ACW sponsors several beloved ministries and events, including:

  • Annual Tours of Historic Plantations and Homes – a longstanding Georgetown tradition supporting missions and ministry.

  • Women’s Bible Studies – opportunities to grow in God’s Word together.

  • Plantation Tours and Tastes Cookbook – an award-winning publication that celebrates our history and hospitality.

The Women’s Bible Study is a welcoming gathering where women study Scripture, share life, and grow in their walk with Christ. Each study focuses on a biblical book, theme, or character, with time for discussion, prayer, and encouragement.

Women's Bible Study is scheduled to resume in February 2026.

Please check the Enews and Church Calendar for upcoming gatherings and study topics.

The Gospel Challenge is a 90-day commitment for three men to meet together and read through the four Gospels. Developed by The Rev. Ramsey Gilchrist, this journey strengthens faith, builds accountability, and deepens understanding of Christ’s life and teachings.

Groups meet on their own schedules and conclude by reflecting on the eight traits of the early disciples.
