An enjoyable ministry at Prince George Winyah is the Docent Committee. Volunteers offer just three hours per month (or more if they choose) and greet visitors who come to see the interior of our historic Parish. The Parish is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from noon to 3 pm and closed on Wednesdays. The season runs annually from March 1 until October 31.
We have a timeline handout that conveys the most important details of our history and information about our Parish today, so docents need not be fluent with our history, but can answer questions using a complete history that is provided.
