PGW Brick Project!

November 21, 2020

9:00am – 12:00pm

“God is building a home. He’s using us all…fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together.” – Ephesians 2:19-22 (The Message Translation)

Building with bricks is a neat picture Paul gives us for the Body of Christ.  We have an upcoming service project involving bricks and need the Body at Prince George Winyah to help!

ALL of our historic bricks need to be moved from the Boat Shed storage (2316 North Fraser Street) to the church cemetery grounds for an upcoming columbarium project.  We are prayerful that Families will sign up for a time slot and try to load 100 bricks into their cars/trucks/trailers in 15 minutes.  Many hands will make light work and as we experienced with the pumpkins serving the Lord in a small way but all together makes for memorable and fun ministry.

Work gloves will be provided, if needed!  Once a family has loaded their bricks they will transport them to behind the Nation Building (Ryan and Rhianna’s house) Then, unload and carefully stack the bricks on pallets as directed there or at the cemetery.  The unloading and stacking is estimated to take 30-45 minutes.
